We would just like to say hello to everyone and express how excited we are to be a part of the boxerworld family. I have gained a lot of useful information reading numerous posts. I registered a few months ago, but everytime I get on here I do so much reading that I run out of time to post a hello. So, this time I'm posting first.
I feel like I know so much about many of you. Here is a little bit about us. We are a family of eight. Myself, my husband, four two legged children, 8, 10, 11, 16 and two four legged children both 8 months old. I had always wanted a boxer. One day in October my husband and I were killing time at a shopping center and decided to go into the pet store (I know). We made our way through the store and ended up at the puppies. There she was the most adorable boxer ever. I wanted to hold her, my husband said, "No dogs." I said, "I know, but can't we just hold her." Well, I put her in his arms and a few minutes later we walked out with puppy and a ton of puppy products.
We took her home and the boys named her, Blue. They wanted her to be their football mascot. They were the bombers and their colors were blue and white. Blue is a "reverse" brindle, white chest, cropped tail and natural ears.
My brother-in-law has three boxers and they are so much fun together. So
of course, Blue needed a playmate. In December we bought Max from a breeder. He was already five months old. Max is a brindle, with a white chest, cropped tail, and natural ears. Our oldest named him Max after the dog on the Grinch, because he was so shy and timid. Its funny we picked two pups with opposite personalities. Blue is very hyper and Max is more mellow. They balance each other out. Altough I can't help but wonder what Max is thinking when Blue is pouncing all around him while he is napping or even outside for a potty break.
Well, I'm sure that's more than enough about us. We love having Max and Blue as additions to our home. They are a perfect match to our family's personality. Now it seems like I can't remember our house without the sound of puppy feet running through the house.
Thanks for taking the time to learn about us.
