This is a great place to do several things. First, you will read advice on anything and everything that has to do with you and your puppy. While you are raising your puppy, advice is at your fingertips. When you need someone to relate to your puppy mishaps, there will be advice for that too! The people of BW are caring and helpful, I hope that you enjoy it as much as I do. Good luck with your soon to be awesome Boxer puppy!

Welcome to Boxerworld...!

it is so great to have knowledge and just good old dependable support from this forum... Boxerworld is great at that... and with the many many different time zones and continents there is almost always someone online reading and replying to threads here... there's many knowledgable people here to help you along the road of raising a pup, then there's people like me who are just here to pat you on the back and to say, 'yah mine did that too' and to hang in there and keep on pushing...

Boxers are so great... they love to LOVE and love to be LOVED... they really like to cuddle and play and run around and burn out in open areas... they are a companion and can't stand to just be put outside and ignored... they are a big commitment but so worth it all... they are a wonderful breed.....

sloppy kisses and booty bumps from Rocky n Lady :)

Hello and Welcome to Boxerworld! Good for you for doing your research first. Take a look at the Puppy Matters forum - there are a number of articles on what to look for in a reputable breeder, what health tests should be done, etc...

Hello & welcome to Boxer World, good to hear that you are willing to do some research before you commit. Too many do not and that is why there are so many dogs in rescue organisations & shelters.

PLEASE make sure you have the time and $ and commitment needed to care for a dog. I am dismayed by the amount of people that give away their dog after the novelty or cuteness wares off.
I have seen threads
1. Not home enough
2. Can't live inside (did they not no this ahead of time?)
3. Breed to energetic and needs lots of traing = money.

The list goes on. I am just glad you are doing your research.
