Hello everyone! My name is Valerie, I'm from Ottawa, Ontario in Canada. I am the very proud mommy of a handsome flashy reverse brindle boy Boxer named Mako (after the shark species). Mako will be 1 year old on Feb. 13. He was actually born on a friday the 13th - but he is not unlucky to me at all. Mako has taken obedience classes since he was 4 months old. He is a very active puppy and enjoys romping in the snow and visiting his best friend Webster (a fun loving golden lab). Mako also has a great time playing with his brother Mackenzy ( a grey tabby cat rescued from the humane society). They take turns chasing each other around the house! Fortunately Mackenzy loves dogs (especially big ones!). Mako is my first Boxer - my previous dog was a Great Dane named Oskar. Well that's pretty much it for us - We are looking forward to meeting new people and learning lots of fun stuff about other Boxers!

Reverse brindle girl

Hi Valerie,
I have a reverse brindle girl too. She has dark red stripping and only weighs in at 45 lbs. I call her my mini-box. What color is your reverse brindle girl? Glad to have you join us, this is a great website..

Hi Valerie, and welcome to BW! I love reverse brindles and am anxious to see his pics. BTW, I was married on a Friday the 13th 29 years ago and don't think of it as unlucky either. Enjoy the forums ~ Cathy
