a four month old named Jackson. Everythings perfect except he has some "ferocious flatus". He eats Eukanuba, his vet says boxers are known for gas. Anyone have any tips for this problem? I was thinking maybe some Beano liquid drops in his food, I don't know.

oh that gas:)

our boxer had bad gas and someone had suggested to get a food dish that lifted off the ground. ever since then her gas hasn't been as bad. we actually got one that lifts to two different heights.

Ferocious flatus? That places him on the lower part of the scale for producing gas. Boxers are known for their prodigious ability to produce gas. They are known not only for the quantity, but also for the quality. It's really high octane stuff. It wouldn't take many Boxers to produce enough fuel to generate electricity for a small city.

Actually, Indy and Ava fall far short of the Boxer standard when it comes to gas. We aren't complaining.

A raised feeder and 5 or 6 yogurt drops each night has helped with the gas issue very much. Enjoy your baby! They are simply terrific. They grow up so fast! Karen - mom to Jake and Cleo
