It sounds as though you have many more mosquitos than we do in the Ottawa area. Is it true that the mosquitos are really the size of birds in the Muskokas!! I bet at times they feel as though they are!

Seems we have tons! Woodstock where I originally came from is surrounded by swamp land, actually the cities water source! The high humidity and water laying around do make a wonderful atmosphere for the little Bu@@*#s Long Point being on Lake Erie, tall grasses and humid conditions is another wonderful Mosquito Haven. (We also have to watch out for the deer ticks there as well )
As for the Muskoka's Yepper at times I swear they are bigger than the bears. The early morning and after dinner hours are the worst. They come in droves, making it impossible to spend an evening outdoors on the deck or dock. The cottage is on Lake Muskoka so perhaps the close proximity to the water has something to do with it. All I know is they could carry you away!!
This coming spring and summer is my first one in the GTA. It is my HOPE that the pollution keeps them away! :D

Can't wait for the summer bash too! Perhaps I should pack some mosquito repelant!

Might be a plan or eats tons of garlic and brewers yeast before you come (Does beer do the same thing? Might be a lot more fun! )
