head tremors

Our first boxer, Albert had head shakes all of his life and he lived to be 11 yrs. old! It was only in his last year of his life, that he had more frequent 'seizures', lasting a few minutes. Our vet could not find anything to attribute to these seizures and Albert didn't experience any pain during these times, but seemed disoriented until the seizure stopped. I always fed him a very high quality dog food without any corn or wheat; (he had a very sensitive stomach). We did have to put him down in March '03 after he experienced a grand mal seizure. Despite occasional tremors, Albert had a good quality of life the rest of the time. We have a 5 year old male boxer, Jack, and he has never had any of these problems.
Albert was the sweetest boxer and he enjoyed a long, wonderful life even with these tremors. Keep track of the tremors, and if they become frequent or lose consciousness, then a trip to your vet is definitely needed.

I'm Back. Clyde Is Doing Fine Now. The Vet Has Him On Predisone Every Other Day And Phendartital (spelling Is Wrong) Twice A Week.
He Is Now 9 Months Old And Weighting 70 Pounds. He Is His Old Seld Again. The Vet Still Does Not Know What Happened Just That The Right Side Of His Brain Was Affected. I'll Post Recent Pictures Of Him Sone.

Question about the tremor

Did they ever diagnose anything at the vet? Did they say if it was a tremor or a seizure. My Nika has done it a couple of times and I am getting a little worried.

Thanks

THE DOCTOR STILL DOESN'T KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS. SHE ONLY KNOWS THAT HIS BRAIN IS SWELLING SO SHE PRESCRIBED PREDISONE EVERY OTHER DAY AND Phenobarbital TWICE A WEEK. THE PHENOBARTAL IS FOR THE SEIZURE. THE VET SAYS IN ALL HER YEARS SHE HAS NEVER SEEN THIS IN A PUPPY. CLYDE JUST TURNED 11 MONTHS YESTERDAY, WEIGHING 80 LBS
