good luck. i didn't know that he was allowed some space not to lay in the urine. i thought he was already lying it due to not having space. i think that might solve your problem. let us know how it turns out.

I just wanted to tell you I SO FEEL FOR YOU! My last foster I had the hardest time with due to his neglect. He was a "dirty dog" to no fault of his own. That was all he knew from his previous home. It took me the 4 months I had him to get the problem resolved and for him to learn it's much better to be clean and happy. He couldn't even be left in the crate 30minutes! When he left my home he was up to 6hrs and was a clean happy wiggle butt when we got home! I was so proud of him! Tips to help are
1. start all over! 30min incriments if he potties you have gone to far and go back to a smaller amount of time
2. completely clean and sanatise the crate so it no longer smells of his accidents
3. Feed him in his crate! Boxers hate to be dirty for one and wont urinate where they eat
4. you can go to your local harvest house, salvation army and buy him blankets really cheap they will help him be comfy and won't confuse him like the pee pads. you can email me anytime and I would be happy to help you further DONT GIVE UP ON YOUR BABY! YOU CAN DO IT =)

Miracle work (or some sort of miracle) is the name of a liquid enzime which eliminates the odor from excretion..
Any enzymatic cleaner would do IMO.

All Petsmarts carry a product by Simple Solutions called Stain and Odor Remover. It comes in various sizes, but the best value is the gallon sized. If you have trouble finding it, try online at Petsmart.com or JBPet.com.
The use of this product should also decrease the odds of your pup peeing in the crate.

Not just BYB's either- Luka's breeder checked out, but she kept his litter in a raised pen w/ a pan underneith. So, Luka thought it was ok to use the bathroom in his crate. It was a real struggle during potty training. :rolleyes:apollosdad said:
