He looks mean

I've had comments on how Nestle looks mean but as soon as people get to know her they all fall in love. I think the black mask has something to do with it...like she's dark and mysterious. My friend once told me that when Nestle looks at you it's like she's judging you It has to be that serious expression. Oh well, her personality wins people over so that's what matters.

I don't think Boxers look mean, but tough maybe. You just need to get to know them and then you realize they are just marshmallow inside. That's is what I love about boxers.

I think your baby looks beautiful! I just love their faces, and they truly are majestic. I think that sometimes boxers with cropped ears look a little intimidating, but are still just babies at heart.

I don't think Sam looks mean at all. Our neighbors are absolutely terrified of Buster but love Bandit. Buster tends to stare a person down, while wiggling his but as fast as possible of coarse. But I think it's the combination of the staredown and cropped ears that intimidates the neighbors.

I think he is handsome. Like is has been said people that do not have or know Boxers are ignorant to the fact that they are just overgrown puppies that love almost everyone! My X is deathly afraid of my girls and my son's dog, Deimus, who is fourteen months old. And he use to be a mailman!

I think to a stranger they look mean. They have such "chiselled" faces. And the underbite. They do look like a tough breed.

We went to get the oil changed in our truck a while back and my DH got out of the truck for something. Harley stole his seat and leaned out the window and watched what was going on. One guy I could tell wanted to pet him, but seemed scared. He called over to my DH "is he mean???"

DH says "he might lick ya to death"

I cant remember if he pet Harley or not but I do remember from the passenger seat seeing Harley's rump hovering in the air (too excited to sit) and the nubby going wild

I think that boxers have the "bulldog" mean look. People think Brutus looks mean--I think it's because of his cropped ears. Other people think Trinity looks mean because of her dark coloring. I don't even remember how many people have told me that she looks like a pit because she's brindle. I've given up trying to explain to people the truth.

Boxers have the cutest, squishy, lovable faces to me but I can see where other people would see them differently. If they've never experienced the powerful love that a boxer gives you, they wouldn't be able to understand.

I think it is the seriousness in their face and the "stare down" that tends to intimidate people. Bentley's just doing it to see what the person's going to do next and whether he should run or not He also won't move at all. He's still a little too skidish. The minute you talk to him though he melts. Then he's Mr. WiggleyButt.
