He ate a pet wipe

Splash and I had a great morning and went on a nice walk. His feet were a little muddy so I took out the Petkin pet wipes to wipe his feet. Well, the little devil snatched it right out of my hand an ate the whole wipe!! I called the vet and they said he sould be ok and would probably vomit it up later. They suggested giving him some food to coat his tummy and to be on the look out for the wipe! Has anyone else had this happen? He has eated a ton of paper towels and napkins before, but this just makes me nervous because it is treated. I read the package and there don't seem to be any harmful chemicals in the wipe. I guess we will have to wait and see.

I wouldnt fret about it too much if I were you. My dogs eat all manner of yech and if they dont barf it, it gets pooped out. My Lara is a diaperhund (gross, sorry I know), and Ive more than once found a diaper liner in her poop. If it were something thicker, say like a sock, then Id be a bit more concerned, but one little wipe probably isnt much cause for concern.

I have found babywipes in my pups droppings more then once. And i am like how the heck did he eat that without me knowing.. You know how?.. The DH not watching him closely.. But they have always came out. I am sure your pup is ok.. Just be careful he doesnt get anymore.

ONe day while scooping up poop I found a small bandana in Harley's pooh didn't know he had eaten it, but it made it out intact. He eats things all the time he either throws them up or poops them out.

This post made me laugh out loud! I won't even tell you some of the nastier things Jordan has eaten, but suffice to say I believe you have nothing to worry about. One of his favorite items is dryer sheets, Snuggle, to be specific. He actually tries to make a game of it, sneaking up on me while I stand with the dryer open, to see if he can stick his little bean in there and get one. Most times I'm quick enough, but he's had his share work their way through his system, too. My aunt has an airdale with an affinity for panty-hose.

Don't worry about the wipe, as much as we try they still seem to get things. My guy last week ate a whole bunch of bananas 4 of them and left me the stems. One of my other dogs ate play dough and it was that glow in the dark stuff I had glowing poop in the yard!

LOL! Reminds me of the time when we had sparkle poop. They ate some candy that was wrapped in foil and .....LOL!

We keep Cottonelle bathroom wipes (flushable kind) and we soon realized that Tatum has a feddish for them. He has gotten the container open and ate enitre pile of them. We now have to keep them up high because he gets creative to try to get them.
