Hates Rain, but LOVES SNOW!!!

We are getting a decent winter storm today. There is about 5" of snow on the ground so far with another few inches to come - a lot for Indy.

Well, Odie does not want to come back in the house!!! He has been outside doing the boxer burn over and over. He is jumping in the snow, burying his face in the snow, rolling around in the snow, eating the snow. I swear the dog has a smile on his face!!!!!

I took a bunch of pictures and tried to get some video too!!!

OMG Roxie loves the snow too. We have about 5 inches as well and she just burries her ball and then plows into it face first. She came out of the snow with an all white face. She was having a blast until the snow plow came by and freaked her out. She ran straight to the door. I wish I had a picture.

LOL, Girlie has seen her first snow today (we are getting the same storm in St. Louis) and she LOVES it out there!

It's funny they won't go out in the rain when it's 80 degrees outside but let it snow. They are all about playing until they're frozen. Baron comes back in after a romp in the snow and curls up on the couch with whomever happens to be the lucky person. Cold nose and really cold feet. But he would go right back out again and freeze some more.

Harley is worse than a kid on snow day! He loooooves snow!!! They are so funny. You should see the look of delight on his face. He cracks me up

One time the pump in the basement went out and our yard flooded. While we are stressing about the whole situation, Harley was out there doing boxer burns through the water and splashing around having a GREAT time.

And i thought boxers werent water dogs!

Diesel loves snow too, I think he likes it even more this year since he's older & taller, and less likely to drag his boy parts in the snow this year. I was trying to get to work this morning (south Indy) and all he wanted to do was run around in the 7 inches of snow for about 30 minutes, then pottie, but by the time he got in the house he was 3-wheeling up the driveway (lifts one foot up, while walking) took his blankets out of the dryer and off to work. All this to work for 3 hours and and drive back home. But gotta love my job, no time clock, 1/2 day on Fridays.

This morning was Blues 1st real snow fall. We have had a couple of dustings. I couldnt get him out the door to use the bathroom. He went out did mhis business and ran right back to the door. LOL. Figures I get the boxer that doesnt like the snow. Well he better get used to it livivng in a suberb of Buffalo NY hes going to see more than his fair share of snow in his lifetime.

Sydney sits on the bed and stares out the window whining and howling until we bring her out in it - she LOVES snow too! It's so funny to watch her - she can hardly contain herself until we bring her out. Then she runs (and leaps a little b/c the snow is so high today) as fast as she can through it. She runs with her nose down too! We can hardly see her in it until she pops her head up w/ snow on her nose.

She just came back in and is just staring out the window right now watching the flakes fall to the ground...hahaha I love boxers! They are just so wonderfully goofy!

AND - she came back in about 5 minutes ago......but has already started her "Please Please Please Please!!!!!!!!!! take outside" dance ahaha

She did a little whine, jumped off the bed, put her paws up on the computer desk and stood up to get eye level with me (that I gently removed) and then jumped back on the bed to stare at the flakes!

But if this was rain - OH BOY - we would have to scoot her out the door to go to the bathroom hahaha

Sophie is loving the snow, too! We are south of St Louis and ended up with several inches. As it was falling she kept trying to catch it in her mouth, doing the boxer burn and rolling in it. I can't get her to go out in the rain but she keeps begging to go out in the snow. She is having a blast playing with her kids in the snow, chasing them while they are sledding (we live in the country) and forcing the kitties to play with her. LOL

I have to get some video!
