Has anyone spayed their dog @ Petsmart?

There is nothing in the rules that say you can't give the name of your vet. What you can't do is post links to websites, or plaster their contact information over the internet (ie. people can look them up in the phonebook themselves).

Thank you so much for your concern. If I can not find a vet soon I will serioulsy drive to Houston and use your vet. I love to take road trips. My parents live in Louisiana and my mom is searching for a vet as well. This is so insane that my vet or others will not listent to me. I will just pray that God will send me to the right one. I am not going to give into them to risk my baby. I will keep you guys posted on if I find anyone. Thank you so much for your thoughts. Hopefully I will find one soon.

Well if you like to drive I will gladly meet you there and you can hang out with me while your baby is in surgery. Literally the doctor is amazing. He spends so much time with us it's unbelievable. He always explains everything to me and I NEVER have to ask. Not to mention that he is so gentle and I love that. I actually hug him everytime I leave as do my daughters. You would love him if you can't find anyone near you. The name of the animal clinic is Champions Forest Animal Clinic. It's located off of 1960 on the NW side of Houston. His name is Dr.Todd Sarter. Just let me know what happens and I will keep my eyes open to this post Oh and what parts of Louisiana? I have family in Lafayette, Crowley, Gueydan, Baton Rouge, and the list goes on.

This morning I going to be on the hunt for finding a vet so I will keep you updated. My family lives in Shreveport, Lake Charles, and New Orleans. I went to college in Layafette for a year. Small world. I really appreciate you wanting to help me. Hopefully I can find someone today. Well if you ever come to Fort Worth we will definetly need to get our babies together so they can meet. If you'd rather have a shorter drive, College Station is only three hours from DFW. I use Dr. Lackey here in town at the Hwy 30 Vet Clinic. The drive is do-able in one day, since your baby would need to stay overnight. . .

We Use Banfield in Killeen, TX

Our vet is wonderful! WE are in Killeen and Sox goes to see Dr. Laura at Banfield. We haver been so happy with the care and attention then give to her and how knowledgeable they are with all of our questions. Killeen is a little closer then College Station.

My brother's vet is in Arlington. She owns 2 boxers and does foster care for Boxer rescue. She will probably be very happy to abide by the "NO ACE" rule. Her name is D. Ross-Stevens at the Park Plaza Animal Clinic. They also have a web site. Good luck.

Thanks for all the advice guys. I decided to use my parents vet in shreveport, louisiana. My parents have been using them for years and just love them. They do not use ACE so I was very excited to hear that. I will keep you guys on how her surgery goes. It won't be until next. I am so sad right now..............I have to leave my baby for the weekend. I am in a wedding in Tulsa, Ok and I have to leave Brooxy at home. This is the first time I will be away from her all weekend. My BF's mother will be watching her. SCARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! His mother is good with brooxy, but is brooxy good for her is the question??? I am not going to stress about it, brooxy will be ok. I just wish I could bring my baby with me, but i can't. Wish me luck that everything goes ok with her this weekend. my vet is a banfield pet hospital. I just asked them not to use Ace and he did not ask any further.. he said OK no problem. This is the banfield pet hospital in front od the willow bend mall in Plano

We had Lily spayed at Banfield and we have no complaints about the procedure. We didn't even know about ACE when we had it done but everything turned out fine. We signed up for the wellness plan at Banfield so her shots, spay, and office visits are covered which really is a great deal (other vets have said this to us) but if there is any serious problem, we don't trust Banfield enough so we have another vet we take her to for those type of things if they arise. Once her year contract is over at Banfield, we will not be resigning up because really, only the first year is worth it.
