Has anyone ever been approached by...

One website I visited said that 6 million people may have died during the Holocaust, but a billion chickens die a year so we can eat them. This is the kind of comparison/statement these groups make.

If had been me, and not my boyfriend who had been approached, I definatly would have listened to this woman's opinion, (everyone is definatly entitled to their own) but I would have given her mine as well. I have looked at what some of those kind of groups of people believe, and like FarleyBoxer said, they come up with a lot of comparisons. What they fail to realize, is that the Holocaust killed millions of people over a belief, when people kill chickens (or whatever other animal it is) their parts are not wasted. Chickens die to feed others. I won't get into it a lot. But I was just surprised at how forceful my boyfriend said she was. I'm not trying to make anyone mad, I have no problem with people having their own opinions, and I won't tell anyone that their opinion is wrong just because it doesn't agree with mine, but I do have a problem with people who push their opinions (or beliefs) on me, or other people.

Many years ago at a dog show, word started going around that PETA members were going to come to the show site and start letting dogs out of their crates. Everyone posted people in the grooming area to keep an eye on things while they were showing. Nothing happened, but it created a lot of concern for the dogs safety.
