Harness Fit?

We use a harness when walking Sadie, but I was just wondering, how is it supposed to fit? loose? tight (well not TIGHT but snugly)? I just want her to be comfortable on her walks! thanx

a harness should fit snug but not tight. you definitely don't want it fitting too loose either. a snug fit will ensure that the harness remains in place during her activity. if it is too tight or too loose it can actually cause chafing of their skin by rubbing up against certain parts of their bodies. if possible, request some help from a trainer or a pet store associate, they should be able to help you with providing a good fit.
