Harley is really sick!!

This morning at 5 am Harley came into my room and didn't try to get in bed I thought that strange. I went to the bathroom he didn't move a few minutes later he started breathing funny so I go up and there was something wrong. He was panting and not moving at all. I woke up dh and tried my vet right away her answering service wasn't working for an hour but finally got thru she told us to bring him in she would meet us at the clinic. Its his heart we won't know till later today how bad he is or what we can do.

The vet had told us his bloodwork wouldn't be back till the afternoon I am too scared to call there since I am at work till 1pm and don't want to cry anymore then I have he was overly active yesterday I had my friend bring her dog by and for some reason Harley was acting like a puppy I had to keep him on the leash when we went for a walk he was scaring the Mastiff he even pulled me down I was just thinking how healthy he was and now this I guess his heart couldn't handle it. They were doing xrays this morning too, dh took the day off work and told them to call there if they haven't called by the time I leave her I will call them. I am wandering if this is cardiomyopathy, has anyone had this happen dogs don't have heart attacks like humans but this is what it seemed like.

His chest xrays said his heart is ok, he dosen't have arrythmias the problem is in his spleen or liver his is anemic. his red blood cells were low but are coming back they need to xrays on his abdomen but he has to much stool in there. He is walking now and eating and drinking. We had to pick him up for the night they wanted him to be monitored all night and we have to take him back in the morning for more tests to see what the problem is. He has slept since we bought him home around 6 pm. had water but hasn't eaten. He will sleep with me tonight so I can monitor him. I hope he will be ok but we won't find out until tests are done tomorrow
