Cosworth had himself a good ole time today. He woke me at about 7:00 AM with a very low, very serious growl... It turned out he was growling at my neighbor's plastic skeleton hanging in their tree. We "investigated" and Cosworth decided that there was no serious threat. :D
Tonight he had great fun with tricker-treaters. He seemed to think he was one. After looking the window and seeing a group of them he went and got his leash and insisted on going for a walk around the neighborhood. This is also his first Fall and he had great fun chasing leaves. Later at home we sat out on the front porch to greet trick-or-treaters. I'm in a very high volume area and went though about 4 lbs of candy, so there's not much point in staying inside and waiting as there is no waiting between groups! I had Cosworth tied to one of the posts of the porch railing, so he could come to the edge but not down the stairs. That way I could sit with him and still hand out candy to those who's parents were nervous about him. He did very well with that. He's very interested in children, but was very content to sit still and let them pat him on the head.
Later, after things slowed down somewhat I set up camp inside. This is when Cosworth was able to launch his plan for Halloween mischief. He waited until I answered the door and slipped out. There were about 20 or so kids and their parents on the block at the time and Cosworth demonstrated to all of them his remarkable speed, cornering ability, and his ability to leap a 7 year old child in a single bound. :D Even the two mom's who had been somewhat nervous about Cosworth sitting with me on the front porch cheered him on. It was hard not to.
Anyway, all the fun is over and Cosworth is sleeping on the couch. No doubt resting up for the next day's fun and adventure. There are still plenty of leaves to chase! :D
