LOL! I came home from a halloween party and had candy they had given us, I left it by the side of my bed. I woke up 4:00 in the mornin' and Found my 6 month old, flashy fawn, looking up at me with a sucker stick hanginmg from his mouth. it waS so CuTe! And i looked around and there was 12 or 15 candy wrappers all over my room. He ate all the candy and left the wrappers and sticks. It was so funny, but so cute! thought i'd share a lil story with yall!
Now all he ever wants is candy. .

Wow, I'm not so sure that I'd be so happy about this since candy and dogs aren't a very good combination. I hope he doesn't get sick from all that junk. Were any of the candies that your dog ate chocolate??

My schnauzer did this on valentines day three years ago. I left a box of chocolates on my bed (stupid me) and he ate the whole thing. I figured that since the wrapper was still on it, it was fine. I came home to him throwing up and starting to convulse. I took him to the vet, and they pumped his tummy, and kept him over night. I was SO distraught. Its a sad feeling.
Although, I can see how that would be funny with all those wrappers and candy sticks but like above said, you gotta watch out for chocolate, its DeAdLy!!!!!

My first boxer helped himself to the candy bowl once and was so violently sick! He threw up so much from all the sugar. I remember my mom being so mad at him, but then calling the vet worried he would need his stomach pumped to get rid of all the junk he had eaten. He pooped wrappers for days! He was fine after 2-3 days of no appetite! Keep an eye on your pup since he is so young, Good Luck.

My parents German Shepard once picked all the tootise rolls out of the kids candy bag they had hanging on the doorknob. Something about those tootise rolls must have smelled good, luckily she was not ill and the kids learned to put thier candy somewhere else.
