hair loss

Our 5 year old boxer is losing the hair around her haunches. We changed her food a couple of months ago and it seem to have temporarily solved the problem. We've continued to feed her the
same food, but her hair seems to be falling out again.

We've taken her to the vet for some blood work and everything seemed to be normal.

Any ideas on what could be causing this and/or how to prevent it?

I assume since you mentioned bloodwork, they are checking for a thryoid problem also. Double check with your vet to make sure they have also ran a T-4.

Other possiblity is allergies.

I was wondering how your boxer's hairloss problem is. Did you find out if anything imparticular was causing it?

I'm asking because my boxer is losing hair around her face and neck. The vet did a scratch test and bloodwork came back normal. The vet said she had no idea what it could be. I'm getting worried because it is getting worse. Any info you have would be great.
