hair falling out

hi i wrote a couple of months ago concerning biffas hair falling out, he is now nearly 8 months and still every day my floors are covered in hair, i brush him and his hair falls out, i thought it was his puppy coat he was losing but its still coming. he has got such a lovely coat really thick, can anyone give me any advice i have tried changing his feed, i have a 6 year old human child and its not nice telling him not to roll around the floor or not to cuddle biffa too much as he gets covered, biffa even lets me hoover him hes sooo soppy. please can anyone help? jane

hi jane, what kind of food is biffa on?
sometimes all it takes is changing foods
you want to look for a high quality kibble.
and maybe the food biffa is on just does not agree with him.

Sampson has little patches of hair falling out all over his body. Last week they did a skin scrape at the vet and he has a mite. He's on medication until we get two consecutive negative readings...

Maybe this is your problem? I'd have it checked out just to be sure.

Roxie had patches of hair falling out on her back. She is currently on meds for a skin infection due to some allergies which was causing the hair loss. If changing foods doesnt help I would try going to the vet to get a skin scrape. Hope this helps.

when i got biffa he was on red mill mother and puppy feed and i put him on eucenuba and it got worse so now he is on red mill super premiem puppy feed, his hair isnt coming out in patches even as you stroke him you can see it coming out, but as i said he has a lovely thick shiney coat not thinning at all its just always coming out????
