I believe you have received some very good advice. I would encourage you to go over your rental agreement. Pay close attention to clauses, if any, about noise control ect. I believe contacting your landlord is the best idea. If you have paid your rent on time and all your dog fees ect. a little noise is not going to cause any waves with the landlord. I always tell my clients to document everything. Do not throw away the note. Keep a little calendar that says that you received a warning note from him and you contacted the landlord. If things get crazier contact the SPCA yourself and see what your rights as a good dog owner are. There are also a lot of tenants rights information usually at your local city government office that can give you some guidelines.

Thank you to everyone for your great advice, I plan to be the better person and go talk to him IN PERSON tonight and see if we can not get this issue resolved.

Just and FYI: I OWN my home (duplex), i do not rent

I will keep my composure even if i want to deck him (haha)

The flaming Subi Ru Poo was a great idea and believe me i thought about it
But i decided that would REALLY piss him off. haha

Buy an old washing machine, plug it in and push it up against the wall between your houses. Put one large wet towel in it and set it to spin cycle every time you leave. Make sure it bangs the wall incessantly when on spin cycle.

Unfortunantly my wash machine is on the other side of the house, but our bed is against the same wall his bed is, i was thinking about banging our head board against the wall REALLY bad, he would just think pat and i were peerves that really got into it, (he would be jealous too) HAHAHAHAHA i am SOOOO evil

We Did It !!!

Pat and I went over last night and spoke with our neighbor. both of us were all prepared to hate this guy, but he turned out to be A O K.
He told us that he knew the note was a little harsh but he was just angry and that since he has written the note it has been quiet.
Which leads pat and i to believe that it was our foster dog faith that barked, she left on saturday, he wrote the note on friday. I do not know why we did not think it would have been her, i guess because she was always soooo quiet at home, she would not bark when subi and bailey would.
So i am pretty happy that we did the mature thing and went and spoke with him, he was very nice and very easy to speak with, he also would like to met Subi and Bailey
So all in all it turned out great, Thanks for the GREAT advice and letting me vent

p.s. he also apologized for threatening my dogs- he realized he should have spoken with us first

I've been following your thread and I'm glad everything turned out okay. Sometimes it just helps to confront the problem and talk it all out. Hope you have no more problems with him in the future.

Faith was actually in the crate in the kitchen where we put subi??? but maybe she has a touch of seperation anxiety???
Faith is getting adopted in 2 weeks, she had to go back to the rescue because her and bailey were having some issues :(
I miss her but this is better for her, plus she will be with her new family VERY SOON appicon appicon
