I am starting to get more and more questions about if Luka is a pit or not. Have never had any rude comments though. The other day while we were on our walk, it was at the same time the school bus was dropping kids off in the neighborhood. A kid was coming our way and at about 20 feet away asked if he was a pit, I simply replied "nope, he's a Boxer" and the kid said "cool!" and proceeded to give Luka a lil pat on the head!!
However, several days later while again, on another walk, there were several familes out enjoying the nice weather. Well, I had to walk right through them and one of their sons (who happens to know Luka very well) went to pet him and his mom yelled out "DON'T!!! YOU DON'T PET STRANGE DOGS" and we both said at the same time "it's ok, he/I knows him" as I shot a nice evil look at her. Sad part about this........THEY HAVE A BOXER!!!!! Ugh, people! Then on the way back through the son asked his dad where Brandi is (their Boxer) and his reply was "eh, inside somewhere, I dunno"....grrrrrr.
Funny enough the next afternoon the mother was out walking Brandi.....first time I ever saw them walking her. *sigh*
