Grossest thing ever eaten?

Hayley and I met up with her boyfriend from puppy kindergarten today and we walked down to the creek for the dogs to play in the water. Hayley found 3 dead fish about 3-4 inches long. I got two away from her but she managed to eat one. I have been grossed out all afternoon and called my bro in law who is a marine biologist. His guess was that the only thing that would happen is it might make her throwup but that she was at low risk to catch something even if the fish died of a disease. Just wondered what kind of yucky things other dogs may have eaten.

Probably the cat's poop and his own poop! He chewed some already chewed gum last week that I had to get out of his mouth. That was pretty nasty for me.

For Haley it's a tie between a used condom and a used tampon. And in second place is a tie between cat poop covered in litter, and her own vomit.

Wow! I guess I'm lucky. Daisy ate poop for a while (long ago), but mostly just paper. We were always picking paper, hair, carpet fuzz, pieces of toys, and other strange objects out of her enormous lips. I don't know where it all came from!

The most expensive thing she ever ate was my roommate's new cell phone, charger and all! Oh, and a couch cushion too.
