Hi. I'm new to this board and wanted to share this and ask for some suggestions.....my 2 1/2 yr old neutered male went to doggie daycare for the first time last week, and apparently he humped every single dog they introduced him to. 150 lb Bull Mastiff to baby Cocker Spaniel. They said on his report card that he's dominant, but not aggressive, which I think is pretty accurate, since he's never ever ever shown a hint of aggression to either man or beast (other than getting over-excited playing tug of war with socks occasionally, but the game stops the second he does it). Anyway... I think we'll try to arrange some time with a trained one-on-one to figure out what's going on here, but does anyone have anything we could try in his daily life that might make a difference?

We had that problem with one of our neutered males. We asked the vet and he said his hormones were probably a little "off". He gave us a mild hormone pill to try and and it worked! He took it for a couple weeks and he began leaving the other dogs alone. Now he is fine. I don't know if that helps in all situations, but it worked for us.
