Marley loves greenies too, but we haven't given them to him in a while since he pukes the big nubby end off every time. (and always in the middle of the night) So if we ever get them again, it will be with close supervision!

I don't feed greenies at all because I think they are way too expensive...

If you want to use them for chewing, then get a raw beef marrow bone...
If you want to improve their breath, try feeding them non-fat yougurt with their dinners.

I just bought some plain low fat yogurt to give to Roxy but I don't know how much to give her and when. Can anyone tell me or should I do a search first? Thanks for your help!

A couple of tablespoons every other day is about right...

Since mine are on a barf diet, I feed the yogurt with a medley of fruits as a treat every other day. So that's yogurt mixed with bananas, apples and oranges. They always lick the bowl clean...

Mine love them but I really cant stand the smell of them too much so they get one about every other week. They are only about $1 a peice where I get them. Just a little mom and pop pet shop, they dont sell animals and it really is owned and ran by and grandmother and her husband. They have their two dobermans running around in there and they have some of the best dog products ever. I have become addicted to the shop since we have Baily now, they have the cutest dog clothes in there.

Emma is great with greenies. SHe probably gets 3-4 per week. She really enjoys them and they keep her occupied. She also tosses the big end piece around a lot! Its cute to watch her. I know they're high in calories but Emma is quite thin so I'm not worried about her weight.

2) There are five sizes of Greenies (including the Lil' Bits), formulated for different weight groups, and it's important to feed the right size for your dog's age and weight.
3) Greenies are 20% lower in calories than the average dry dog food. They are also low in fat (6-7%).
