I'm looking for a good rotational grain free food for Cornelius. Anybody have any thoughts about Merrick (in general) or their grain free foods? I'm looking at the Real Pork and Sweet Potato for now. I'm currently feeding Fromm grain free foods (rotate between beef, salmon and duck) but I'd like to try a different brand.

Deboned Pork, Pork Meal, Potato, Sweet Potato, Peas, Salmon Meal (source of Omega 3 fatty acids), Pork Fat (preserved with natural mixed tocopherols), Pea Protein, Natural Flavor, Apples, Blueberries, Organic Alfalfa, Salmon Oil, Minerals (Salt, Zinc Amino Acid Complex, Zinc Sulfate, Iron Amino Acid Complex, Manganese Amino Acid Complex, Copper Amino Acid Complex, Potassium Iodide, Cobalt Amino Acid Complex, Sodium Selenite), Vitamins (Choline Chloride, Vitamin E Supplement, Vitamin A Supplement, Vitamin B12 Supplement, d-Calcium Pantothenate, Vitamin D3, Niacin, Riboflavin Supplement, Biotin, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Folic Acid, Thiamine Mononitrate), Yucca Schidigera Extract, Dried Lactobacillus plantarum fermentation product, Dried Lactobacillus casei fermentation product, Dried Enterococcus faecium fermentation product, Dried Lactobacillus acidophilus fermentation product, Rosemary Extract.

We fed the Merrick grain free for about 3-4 months...our pups had horrible gas on it (both of them), but they did love it. We'd previously fed TOTW and had some similar issues (gas and diarrhea). We switched to Costco's brand of grain free and absolutely love it. Dogs love it, and no smelly gas.

I loved the Merrick because it was all made in the USA, and at single production plants (they didn't make multiple dog foods/brands at one plant - less chance of contamination/recalls). I switched to Earthborn for a few more months after Merrick, but had the same issues with intolerance.
