Green Eye Goo

Hello All,
My little Cooper's waking up in the morning with a lot of green eye goo in his eyes in the morning and throughout the day he gets little eye boogers that I have to wipe off as well. He has a vet appointment on Friday to get his rabies shot and I'm going to talk to him about his eyes but does anybody know what this might be? I'm wondering if I should try and get Cooper into the vet before Friday.

Gooey eyes can be a sign of allergies but green goo is an infection I think.

Cyrus had terrible eye boogers until we switched him to premium food and now they are pretty much gone.

Only time I have seen green eye goo is with an infection or when one of our dogs has damaged their eye - I would go to the vet before Friday to get checked.

Any green or yellow discharge means infection,best to go to the vet sooner rather than later.

Thanks everyone... I'm taking him in this afternoon. I don't think it's a food issue.. I feed him Canidae which is a good food.
