Hmmm, kinda sounds like the stuff Buster used to get but not so much anymore now that he empties better.

Wondering if it's a UTI or something?

Not for us, my vet says it's normal in males. I've actually had 3 vets tell me that. Not to mention my male had it for 5 YEARS, pretty sure something else would have happened if it was an infection for that long LoL.

Must be one of those "Mysteries of a Dog" that we will never know the answer to.

If only we could ask the boys.......Thank god just dogs have this issue. LOL Would be one more reason I like to be single!

I'm sure a vet would have an answer as to what it is. Honestly I've just never asked LoL. I simply asked if it was normal and they said yes and so I left it at that satisfied with the answer, then when we moved I asked as well just to be sure with each vet (we've had 2 since living here) and both said yes so I'm satisified that it's normal, but never did ask what it was.
