Hello it has taken a lot to come back to Boxer World. We had to put our first dog Maggie a Boxer of 12 years old to sleep May of 2003. It was the hardest thing we have ever done.
I had a big Birthday in March and my girls got me a book called Boxers for dummies and a new Dog collar. So I went back to boxer World and started reading. I didn't think I could ever have another dog. Boy was I wrong! We picked up Gracie in April. And we all Love her very much. But now that we don't have 3 children to play with Gracie, like we did with Maggie it is hard to keep up with our new puppy. One good thing is I am losing a lot of weight running around the dinning table to keep her happy. My husband is trying to work out back better go and help with Gracie.

Congrats on your new pup! I'm sorry to hear you lost Maggie last year. That must have been so difficult.

I know what you mean about running around the dining room table! In my house, it's the coffee table we run around!!

Hello - I'm new to Boxer World but I so understand what you are saying. It took us 18 months before we bought another puppy after our first boxer died aged 12.5. I was so heartbroken I didn't think I could ever live with another boxer and our oldest children are twins and left home to go to university the same year. All my memories of them as children had Basia with them I felt like a whole slice of my life had come to an end. However, my youngest son persuaded us to have another boxer for him and I have never looked back. She is totally different and yet so many similarities! The house is a home again.
I hope Gracie brings you lots of joy.
