Nothing will ever fill the hole in your heart Gunther left. But there's always more love. Boxers are a special breed. I know what you're going through. It's been about 3 and a half weeks and I still cry every day over Raina. Gunther sounds like he was a wonderful boy and I can tell you loved him very much. You did every thing you could for him, right up to the end. Thank you for offering your sympathy and your support on Raina, even when you were going the WORST of times yourself.

My condolences, we know how hard it is to make that decision to send our furbabies to the bridge, may gunther be playing painfree with all his new friends at the bridge.

So very sorry for your loss. I'm typing through the tears as you hit home with me. I too had to make that difficult choice not quite a year ago with my Ben who also was only the young age of 5. He had exactly the same thing as Gunther.
I know it was a hard decision, but know that you made the best one for him and that it was the right thing to do.
With a little time the pain will ease, but he will always have a place in your heart. Take care and know we are thinking of you.

I'm so sorry to hear about Gunther's passing. I'm SURE that the rainbow you saw was him. Be at peace knowing you did the best thing for him. I came across this before on BW and thought I would share it will all of you who have had to make the decision that none of us wants to make...
