Goin' to the vet

[Austin's Mom]

Austin is going for his annual check up this Wednesday, and it always makes me nervous. I know I'll get ragged on for his weight, but at 7 years old he's never gonna be skinny. He seems to be in good health, but he has this little growth on his lower eye lid. Looks like the one he had on top of his other eye last year, and the vet said it's nothing. Just one of those "old age" growths. I hope this one is the same. I don't think of Aus as being "old". So if you could send us some good luck vibes it would make me feel a little better! Thanks!

All is well! The lumps and bumps I was worrying about are just cysts and warts. His heart and lungs are fine, and he only gained one pound so I didn't get yelled at! BUT......he would not get out of the car when we got there. He planted himself in the middle of the back seat and shook and wouldn't move. It took my son and myself to push him to the end so I could pick him up and out. God help my back later. There was a beautiful brindle baby in there and this dog was the biggest boxer I have ever seen. And I don't mean fat, I mean tall! So thanks for all the vibes and prayers, they worked.
