She thinks She is to big for her Bridgetts

Hello there! Well I am having so much fun with my pup but she is getting to where she thinks she can bark and bigger and get ya scared of her. Everytime she does somethin wrong she starts to bounc at you and bark. We don't spank her or do any of them mean things at all. Is this just a puppy stage or whats the deal. Now she won't listen to my hubby on any commands at all but however she is listening to me. I tell her to sit she sits and if I tell her no bitting she listens. If I get on her about the baby She runs but listens. I am having a bit of the house braking problem and the grate trianing thing her she rather sleep in a rubber maid box in the room that I am in. And when the hubby is gone she will want to come in the bed with me and take her naps. I am thinking about taking her to obiedencs school because I sure don't want no hiper dog around. Is there anything that you can let me know about getting ehr to stop bitting at the kids and to get her potty broke. I take her out every hour and right after she eats and drinks water and as soon as you let her back in she goes right on your kitchen floor or in the hall way. My husband has been rubbing ehr nose in it and telling her know then putting ehr outside. But after he kept on doing that it seems to be getting worse What Sould I do

I am thinking about taking her to obiedencs school because I sure don't want no hiper dog around.

Not a lot of us like to use the word hyper when refering to our babies high energy. It is a boxer trait. And we love it. Obidience school is always good, however the energy level...will not go down.

Is there anything that you can let me know about getting ehr to stop bitting at the kids and to get her potty broke. She is still a puppy and she will nip at everyone. She will grow out of it. It's all about the training.

Potty training takes a while sometimes. Be patient with her. Rubbing her nose in it.....not such a good idea. Negative punishment like that is not going to get you the results you are looking for and it will damage your relationship with your boxer, thus the situation getting worse.

I am not going to speak for anyone else here, but I really don't like to hear about negative reinforcements. Boxers take patience and training. There is a lot of wonderful information here on the boards and everyone is glad to help.

Boxers take a lot of patience and training...positive training....dogs like to be clean by nature and by rubbing her nose in her accidents, you may are jeopardizing her learning to potty outside. Please do a search here on puppy training and you will learn a lot of valuable positive training methods.
