You can post the full name of the book here (as long as you aren't the author or the one selling it, of course ;))

Thank you!

Yes, Checkers did post it. If anybody missed it, its called "The Easy Way to Stop Smoking" by Allen Carr.

it helps having told everyone on here as i feel that people will be keeping an eye on me (silly i know) I have my mum phonning me up everydau asking how i am getting on (making sure i have not slipped up)

What has also helpped is the fact that my bf has my credit card and i haven't got any money in the hse so if i really wanted a cig i would have to ask bf for my card as he has hidden it. (he don't think i can do it, so that has mede me even more determind to prove him wrong!!!)

Thank you everyone

I'm SOO proud of both of you. It has been 3 months and 4 days since I quit and it is still hard - but I do feel like I've won the battle. I would never start back now. My dh still smokes and I can tell when he's used the phone before me because it smells. We used to think that we weren't hurting our children because we only smoked outside and we wore "smoking sweatshirts" or tshirts to smoke and then changed our clothes - and we didn't smoke in the car or anything. Well - I think I was wrong because even when he wears the "smoking sweatshirt" I can still smell smoke on the couch when he sits down. I'm not going to harp on him though because quiting smoking was a very personal decision for me - I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to push it on me and I want him to make that same decision.

It's hard - but you guys are doing GREAT!!!!!
