Giving a boxer a foster home for Christmas !

Well in the next couple of days we are going to fostering a 8 1/2 year old boxer...the poor thing is coming across the border for a new life with a new family...it just shows how overcrowded all the rescues are right now...

I will post pics of the guy when he comes...and please if you can, help a rescue in your area !!!!

Oh Laurie, I could just KISS YA for that.....We are all in such sad shape with people dumping their boxer babies this time of year......my personal favorite lately was "if you're not here in the next few minutes, I'm taking him and leaving him in the desert..."

Any and all help is appreciated!!!!!

Sounds like he could be arriving just in time for Christmas~

And what a Christmas it will be for the old fellow. To be in a warm home with the neccesities of life.

First off a great BIG THANK YOU for saving this old pups life.
Is it complicated to transport across the border? And what circumstances ended this old boy in need of rescuing? Can you tell I'm new to all this rescue business.
I have two recent adopted boxers, 1 senior that truly was in need of rescuing. I found it to be such a rewarding experience. I have since then assisted in 2 more non-boxer rescues in the area.

Looking forward to updates and pictures.

Hi! How nice of you to take in an older boxer for the holidays.

I am probably going to be getting a white, deaf boxer just after the holidays. The poor little thing has been living in doggie daycare for 3 months! I can't wait for him to join us, our last foster dogs were wonderful.

OMG what a sweetie he is...he was a little skidish but now after only one day is doing exellent with us and the gang...he seems to have a crush on Roxy....but heh?? who wouldn't ?? I will post pics as soon as I can !!

Thank you so much for fostering a boxer in need. This year has just been awful and we can barely keep up here. In fact I think NCBR actually transported one dog to Wisconsin last month, we just have so many coming in.

That is just wrong....but unfortunatly it is becoming an everyday situation...for boxers to come to another country in order to have a home...where does this end ??

Its ends with the help and love of all the rescue and foster people in this world..

Please help your local rescue !!!
