Ok, so I am planning on getting my first boxer this comming summer and I have a few questions.

1. What size toys should a puppy have? I would like to get him a cuz and they either look to big or to small. Also are there any type of toy a puppy would like best?

2. I have already gotten a crate and a playpen for the little one but my son will be home with him most of the time when I have to work, should I still have my son put him in the crate sometimes so he gets used to it better?

3. I am planning on me and my son taking the little one to "school" anyone else try this with their child? Did it work out ok?

Thats all for now, I'm sure I'll think of more :)
Thanx in advance

We didn't intend to get a puppy from the Humane Society, but ended up with one after seeing how cute Stella was! As a result, we really weren't prepared, but had to wing it. Luckily I already had a carrier, a "playpen," a bed, and a few small cuddle toy that belonged to my other dog. Mostly what I needed were paper towels, patience, and a good sense of humor!!!!! I immediately bought a ticking clock, a baby kong, and a special enzyme cleaner for pet stains that I can't think of the name of right now!

Pretty soon we were buying toys right and left, as well as little girlie dog clothes, and a lot of other stuff she didn't need! But what fun!

Puppy school is a must, but you have to wait until they've at least had their second set of shots.
