Whats going on? Tyson is 9 months old and he is being fresh.lol.It's not really funny, but sometimes it is.The last 5 weeks or so he's been barking at us,tuggin on our sleeves, even talking back.(we say "no"and he gives us the crazy eyes and then barks at us.) Most of the time he is waggin his tail when all this is going on.Is he playing or is it something else?Is this his terror stage? He has been very well behaved up to this point, always listening to commands, things like that. We give him a good amount of attention and exercise, mentally and physically. No idea whats going on.Any info would be great.thanks all.

I agree with hanley and hazard a guess and say that he was hitting the terrible teenage phase! Monty just about drove me insane during this period - it was like I hadn't done any training at all with him, but he came right - eventually. Good luck and hang on in there for as long as it may last - hopefully not too long LOL

Yes, sounds like the "terrible teens". Be patient and FIRM. He will grow out of it eventually....Cami will be 21 months on Christmas day and she STILL tries to pull some teen things with us. Perfect angel one minute, then MAD scientist the next LOL. It will get better. What makes it so bad is that they are so smart and KNOW better BUT keep trying to test you. What was just adorable as a 15 pounder is not quite as amusing as a 50+ pounder!

Lots of exercise, lots of chew items. Keep those brains busy and keep up the training. Good-Luck

Yep, keep him busy and well exercised and that should help. But also be careful NOT to respond to his 'demands' (the sleeve tugging, barking etc). He may be in his teenage phase, but he's also still learning ;) Last thing you want is to teach him that that sort of behaviour gets him anything he wanted or your attention.
