This is so great to hear. I will be getting my second one in just a month or so. We are getting Tugga a little sister. She is only three weeks old right now so it will be another five weeks at least. The waiting is so hard!! When we got Tugga we just looked in the paper and went and got him. But then I educated myself (via BW and other sites) on BYB and puppy mills, so this time we are doing it the right way. I have been talking with this breeder since her girl first got pregnant so the wait is about to kill us. I can't wait to bring her home to meet Tugga, but I've been a little worried myself about how the transition would be. Good luck with your decision.

Getting a second Boxer

Boxers absolutely love other Boxers, so I would not hesitate to do it. And it is better that your first one is still relatively young. We could never have gotten a second Boxer with our first, Grace. She was definitely an only child. I think that it would have broken her heart.

I am also considering the possibility of getting a second boxer. I have similar concerns as you do, about jealousy and possible dog fights. But it breaks my heart to see Mel wimpering at her refection, trying to play with 'the other dog'.
