I'm so excited. LOL especially now that Victoria is spayed and can run and play more becuase she's 'safe' from unneccessary male attention!

Hopefully we can get several together again and enjoy our day!

Yes on the 23rd. I heard it supposed to be cooler which is good for our babies.
Or Saturday which ever works better for everyone....I would like to meet as many boxer parents as possible!

Great I can't wait to meet you. Vickie (Boo's mom)said she will be there around 10ish...that will be perfect. I do hope more people show up it's not supposed to rain and it will be cool......sounds like a great day for the babies in the park! C-Ya there!

Well, we were hoping to make it down for the long weekend. The eight hour drive is a little much to do for the short weekend! We were still planning on coming, but have been calling hotel after hotel and all the dog friendly hotels taht I can find on the internet are all full or way out of our price range. Would anyone be interested in having a sparring partner for their dog this weekend ? (friday through sunday)? If not, I guess we'll kick it around atlanta

I know there are two dog friendly hotels here in New Port Richey. One being the Best Western and the other is an econo lodge(which is cheap but it is a very basic motel).

I think we might get rained out....we have had tons of rain here in New Port Richey. I am hoping we will dry up enough on Saturday if not we might have to reschedule. :(

Geez...I feel like such a goof. Work has been so crazy that I haven't had time to check the thread that I started. Sorry guys, but it does look like you all have taken the ball and REALLY ran with it. I would love to get together on the 23rd, but I have a flag football game...coincidentally at the same park down here as the dog park. I truly understand you all not wanting to drive down here though. I don't suppose that Saturday the 22nd is possible is it?
Healther, I wish I had known sooner about your lodging issues...we are having company this weekend, otherwise we'd be happy to invite you three over.
On a slightly different note...I have noticed that the Tampa Boxer Club hasn't updated their website in some time...so I don't know what the status of the club is. Would anyone be interested in trying to start a regular get-together on a monthly basis at a centralized location? I know a few more Boxer owners down here that would be interested. Let me know what your ideas are. I promise to check back much, much, much sooner.

I have noticed that the Tampa Boxer Club hasn't updated their website in some time...so I don't know what the status of the club is.

Hey Chris ...TBBC has a meeting once a month ...the second Tues of each month ...except for Jan & July ...thats because of the speicalties....The meetings are at different places every month...such as at members homes or resturantes. We all so have a picnic every year. The Boxer Club is full of wonderful people who show their Boxers or compete in obedience ...or just love the breed and want the best for our wonderful breed.
Their web site is not updated often I know..but the members always have updates. Its something to think about joining ..!

The ground outside my home is damp which means the dog park will be muddy.

Do we want to do this the following weekend or ? I just don't want mud in my truck.
