Is anyone interested in getting together for a boxer bash in the Tampa area. We had one not long ago at Fort Desoto and it was great. We could meet at the same area, or there is a great dog park down here in Parrish (just across the skyway in Manatee). I was thinking about sunday the 16th or the weekend after. Let me know guys.

Hey it's Trish....I missed the last one but please not the weekend of the 16th. Anytime after that would be much appreciated.
I also don't think I can drive past the skyway since I am up in Pasco County.

Hey!!!! Guess what. I talked to hubby and he will come for MLK weekend to tampa!!!!!!!! Lets meet up at some point!
We are going to run a road race in st. petersburg sunday morning... (the 16th) but maybe later in the day... around 1 or so?

"IF" we go ...I can't make it the 16th ....The AKC dog show is in Tampa that weekend ...we are going Sunday ...the Boxers will be judged at 9am on Sunday ..then the Best in Show will be that night...the 16th..televisied live on Animal Planet at 8 pm ...So the weekend after that would be much better for us...& also "IF" we go ..I'll be leaving little Leo at home...I just an over protective mommy ..!

As for a dog to adopt... it is too bad you are not up here in GA. There is a cute little boxer mix in rome, ga that is soon to be put to sleep (he is the first one on the www.boxertown.com page). Such a sweet guy!!!!!
There is also a needy pup in lithonia (I could bring any dog from up here down to you next weekend b.t.w.) that the owner cant take care of. he is 11 weeks old (purebred fawn) and has some balance issues. His owners can't afford medical treatment.
