Emma would not stop this either. She's obsessed. So, we installed a kitty door. Kiki the cat can get to the litter and Emma cannot. I'm not sure if this is an option for you, but it was the perfect solution for us. No more kitty poop littered around the house.

We call it Kitty Rocca over here :)

Nothing you can do to train your Boxer. Sorry. Just put the kitty litter out of reach or give the kitty their own room and use a kid gate to keep the Boxer out.

I have an extra bathroom that doesnt get used. So, I made it the kitty room. There is a baby gate blocking the door, enough space that kitty can go under, but the pups cant :) This is the kitty safe room. No dogs allowed!

They have all their food, water, kitty box, and blanket to lay on. The kitties know that the dogs cant get them.

Every now & then, Adam will look in on them, but he knows he will be scolded if he jumps at the gate.

I have the same problem. I dont' think there is a solution, other than simply putting the litter box where your dog can't get to it. I put my litter boxes in the basement and put a baby gate accross the top of the stairs so that the cats can get under it but the dog can't.
