Olly, could you have someone sew a saddlebag type of jacket out of cotton so it wouldn't be too warm with a place for the bottle to fit in and it could have velcro to close it. Always thinking of you and Bismarck.

Kiki, Dexter and I all send our love and support for Bismark!! If I could just send Kiki to do the JackHammer for Bismark that would surely get him up and at em!! She can bring such an energy over you that you didn't think you had. I too am thankful for the time and effort you spend to make all this such an enjoyable thing. I am sending good thought to Bismark that he gets better soon. This site has been an amazing source for boxer owners and I don't think I would be such a good boxer mom with out the knowledge and strength I have received here. I would be more than willing to pay a monthly fee to belong to this site because in my mind it would be a small price to pay.

I wasn't sure whether to PM you with these ideas or post them here, so I'll probably do both...

Here are some links to product info on portable IV infusion pumps - they're battery powered and can be worn by a patient (person or dog). I'm sure there are more out there, but this is all I could find so far. Your vet would probably be able to purchase one fairly easily.

Since they are small and battery operated, they should be able to fit into a doggy backpack along with the fluid bottle. They make a huge variety of dog backpacks for hiking and such, or even a regular harness could be modified with a pocket added to hold things. Aaaaarrrggghhh! Just wish I could do more!

Saw the photo and am glad to see that Athlon is helping keep Bismarck's spirits up! They're both such handsome boys.
