I need some advice, I realize that boxer's are notorious for having gas, but I've read that there are a few tricks on cutting down the smell and maybe the frequency. Any advice appreciated.

I also noticed that one of her back baby teeth has a small black spot on it, kinda like a cavity. Is this remotely normal?

Hope to hear from anyone.

Yogurt will help with the gas. Occasionally Napoleon's gets so bad I will give him a gas-x. He eats so fast, his really gets out of hand sometimes. I know nothing about their teeth. You may want to call your vet.

Good Luck!

My vet also recommended putting a few drops of beano on their food. I haven't tried it but it might work.

Cutting down on gas can usually be achieved by a mix of finding the right food for her (usually one that is low in grains) and adding yoghurt if necessary (well, it's a good thing to add anyway).

With the tooth, I personally wouldn't worry about it. It could be a cavity, but since baby teeth aren't designed to stay in the mouth very long (she'll start losing them around 4 months or so) they're not especially robust. In the future though, it would be wise to either give her raw bones to chew on to keep her teeth clean, or to brush her teeth on a regular basis. Dogs need dental care just the same way people do ;)

My boxer as well has major gas I know this might sound gross but you can even hear her as well as smell her . Our vet and dog trainer said to use an all natural dog food.

Definitely try the yogurt. It has the live cultures in it that stimulates and aids in the digestion process. Be aware that some dogs may be allergic to a number of things. Trying a new kibble or even raw could definitely help.

I feed her Nutro Large Breed Puppy Lamb Meal and Rice. I've fed her the lamb meal and rice since we got her. I think I will definately try the yogurt though.

Thanks alot for the advice.

nutro large breed is not a high quality food first boxers are not large breed also you really do not have to feed puppy food as this tends to make them grow to fast which could cause problems with there bones look up kibble here at bw and you can see alot better quality food

Yogurt works wonders with Duchess when she gets out of control. We usually give her some once a day and it helps quite a bit. Although this will help, its something you just have to get used to and deal with!
