Ok, I know this is kinda gross but my 6 month old girl farts more then any dog I've ever had. She farts every minute. I feed her Eagle Pack puppy formula, so I don't know if it's the food or something else. Is there anything I can do to lower the amount of farts she has or is that just normal? Thanks.

Boxers are notorious for this!

Ah, yes, the boxer bombs! Try mixing in a little plain yogurt with her food. You will notice a difference!

Get used to it

Boxers are well know for passing gas. It's just one of their traits. However, if it's that excesive, you may want ask your vet if you should switch foods. Her stomach may be sensitive to some of the ingredients in the food. I feed Jackson Max Nutro Natual Choice Lamb and Rice. It's suiting him just fine. He still passes gas, but not to the extreme when he was on other foods. Also, his poop is ALOT less and firmer! Good Luck, Sweetie.

I have a funny story about gas.....just so happens it happened today. We were driving home, myself, daughter son, and Cassius. All the windows were up, then it happened. Silent but deadly....all 4 windows immediately went down, all 4 of our heads went out the window. I guess Cassius couldn't even handle the smell of his own toot! It was pretty funny
I think all of us here on Boxer World can understand what your nose is going through!

That story is too funny. I know what you mean. Bugzy doesn't do it a lot but when he does you better run for the hills. The yogurt thing does work though!

Thanks for all your input. Yeah, hers are horrible. She can clear out a room in a second flat and the sad thing is they're not even silent ones, they're as loud as they can be. Is there a particular type of yogurt I should get?

Stinker

Nina saves her BOMBS for the night...when she is laying on the couch right next to me...then she turns her head and starts sniffing where the HORRIBLE smell is coming from...looks at me than at her behind...and everynight the converstions goes..".Nina...yup that came from you."!!!...and each time she looks shocked!!!LOL...I love my little stinker...farts and all...LOL
I second on the yogurt thing...it has been a lifesaver in our houseLOLNina gets a spoonfull every morning...she loves it!!

Get the natural plain yogurt....i sometimes give her vanilla flavoured one too...but most of the time its the natural unflavoured one!!

Molly tends to get gas every now and then. The other day I was here on the computer and she was in the room with me and I heard a farting noise. I knew it wasn't me and when I looked at Molly she was looking around to see where that funny noise came from. I was laughing to hard at her that it was her.
