Costco

Just my thoughts, I saw this food at costco that is comparable to TOTW Salmon and sweet potatoes. It says that it is grain free. It costs about 28.00US for 35lbs. Others here have also found this deal in their local costco. It is produced by Diamond Foods.

enzymes have helped us tremedously, occasionally he will clear the room, but ive come to accept its part of the breed or certainly, part of this dog's demeanor,i think he takes after his human who can tend to get "stinky" after certain meals,,,its just what makes us and them special i suppose.(my glass is half full synopsis)

Just a heads up, I have been battling gas with Rooster (our rescue boy) His problem is his gas doesn't pass.. so he suffers.. Anyway, what I wanted to say about the SWEET POTATOS? I was trying hard to find a food without Sweet Potatos, because I noticed every time I gave them to Rooster, his pain got worse.. This man at the feed store asked me if I didn't realize that Sweet Potato's used to be known as the "Flute Root" Meaning it causes gas!

Both of mine eat a sweet potato food and neither have any gas at all.

Why don't you give this a try?: I add to my boy's lunch 2-3 tablespons of yoghourt nature (upon recommendation of my vet and after my complaints about Buddy's biological warfare on us) and he farts now only on the very, very rare occasion. I do homecooking for him (alternating chicken, beef and liver with some proteins) and he's doing fine.

Good luck - if nothing helps ... what about a gas mask :)??

I add about a tablespoon of yogurt to my dogs' food everytime I feed them (2X/day) and it really seems to help. I feed my dogs TOTW, but because of weight issues I add brocolli as filler. (My dogs don't like green beans as many people have recommended, and I have tried other veggies, but brocolli is their veggie of choice.) I know brocolli can be a bit "gassy" but we rarely have a problem as long as they get their yogurt.

Well if might just be my Poor Rooster, with all the health issues he's having.. might just be him. Sequoia doesn't get gas from the sweet potatoes, but she got little sores all over.. Which is odd, because she's my little "garbage can" She can devour just about anything! lol Took her off the sweet potatoes, and the sores disappeared! *whew*
