Has anyone ever given their furbaby gas-ex for people??

Napoleon has been clearing the room all day, the yogurt isn't doing the trick today for some reason. I have got to do something. It is really sickening.

Cottage Cheese?

Have you tried cottage cheese? How much yogurt are you giving him? I know what you're talking about and I put 3 glops from a tablespoon on top of the food, they love it and we can breathe. A friend gives her boxer Cottage cheese, that's why I asked.

Doggie Gas-Aid

Our boxer has a lot of gas as well. Its from all of the air they inhale through their mouths since they can't really breathe through their nose. Have you tried giving him Gas pills specifically geared towards dogs? They have a few different kinds at almost all of the petstores. These pills seem to work for our boxer. You might want to definitely ask your vet about the Gas med for people before you give it to your pup.

I remember the vet telling me once burn some toast and have the dog eat that, OR charcol pills I think they have them at pet co

I think it just goes with the territory. Just like eye boogers and slobber. I never met a Boxer that didn't stink I don't give mine eggs or we would really have a problem :eek:

2 Boxers can clear a neighborhood!

We have 2 boxers who honestly could clear out a neighborhood with the smell of their toots! I had tried everything and nothing worked. Then, while visiting a friend with the dogs, they ate some of her dogs food. No gas. I have spent a small fortune on remedies and expensive dog food. It was Publix's store brand dog food in the white and blue bag (6.99 for 17.6 lbs!). Now all I do is suppliment with vitamins.

Pooties

My dog has cleared out my house a few times. We make fun of him and he gets embarrassed. They're loud to. I have to explain to people when they come over why I have my shirt over my face. Sometimes he'll look at his tush like he's wondering what that noise was. My other dog will get up and move away from him. Smelllllly. I don't try to stop the toots. Figure it's just natural for him to do it. Wouldn't want to give him medication that might affect him later in life. I just make him go out and go potty.
