Garlic?

Baxter loves raw veggies & garlic seems to be one of his favorites. I know garlic has good benefits to humans but is it o.k. for dogs? I've heard that onions are dangerous to give dogs so I just figured I'd ask about garlic.

Yep, garlic is great for dogs too. Amongst other things, it's a natural flea and tick repellant

But you're right it is a member of the onion family, but it is not as potent as traditional onions. So it can safely be fed, but needs to be given only in small doses. 1-2 pieces from a clove per week is fine You could probably find a lot more information on garlic feeding in the BARF forum.
