Boxer Bash this coming Saturday

Thought I would bump up the post with a reminder that the Georgia Boxer Bash is less than one week away: Saturday, Oct. 16 at Riverside Park near Allatoona Dam.

I'm excited about meeting up with other Boxer owners. I hope we have nice weather.

See ya'll soon!

P.S.
Don't forget to bring along cameras, so we can have plenty of photos. :)

Not this one...

Cassius and I are not going to be able to make it... I'm bummed! We are trying to get settled into our new place - and Cash still has a limp that I am worried about. I hope that everyone has a GREAT time, and Cassius & I look forward to the next bash. Take pictures, please!

Lot'a Fun!

Well, I was very pleased with the turn out. We had about 10-12 folks show up with about as many Boxers. At first we were a little apprehensive about letting the furkids off-leash. Slowy but surely they started coming off the leash and soon we had a pack of Boxers running, playing, & jumping. There was a minor ruckus now & then, but nothing too bad.

Here's the list of Boxer names I can remember: Charlie & Emma, of course, Georgia, Flint, Phoenix, Neko, Yogi, DJ, Duke, Nala, Rocky, Maxie, & Minnie.

I had a great time watching all the dogs meet & play. Soon I'll have a website setup with pictures of the event. The only thing I wish I had done was put out a sign-in sheet, so I could get everybody's e-mail address. A few of the attendees were not Boxerworld members. They saw flyers that I had put up at some of the local vets & pet stores.

I can hardly wait for the next one. Winter is not too far away, so I'm not sure if folks care to get out in the cold weather or not. We may have to wait until Spring for the next bash.
