Furry feet

I noticed today that Zaynah has quite a bit of hair on the bottom of her feet and between her toes, with longer hair there than on the rest of her body. She hasn't had this much in the past when I've looked at them. Could this be part of her "winter coat," and heavier than usual since it's been quite cold and snowy around here lately?

I have never seen that on Lou before, but you also live where there is a lot more snow. Maybe try posting in the Boxer Ant & Phy or health issues. gmacleod is a moderator who answers alot questions in those forums, and is very knowledgeable. Sorry I couldn't help more.

I've not ever seen that much fur on my boxer's feet either. Don't know???

Along with trimming their nails, that hair should be trimmed as well. I have my sister do Buster's...she has a show dog and knows what she's doing.

I do trim nails regularly, usually when they get baths, and ear cleanings, about once a month. Is there a reason other than appearance that the hair should be trimmed? I think it's cute, too.
