Boxer Pal
Sweet little 9 week old Brandy came to live with our family on Christmas day. She is 8 lbs of Brindle beauty! I haven't owned a dog since I was in Junior High School so this is all new to me... being the Mom of kids and a dog is lots of work! Way back when, it was all play. Now I'M the one making sure that the food is stocked, the waterbowl is filled, the doo-doo cleaner is nearby, and the puppy is not doing something naughty...
My family consists of me, my hubby, 2 daughters and 2 sons, all of whom adore this little bundle of energy and doggy kisses. We live in Northern Utah and would love to meet other Boxer owners. I'm going to see if there is a club of some sort nearby.
I'm excited for this new path in my life. The dog is truly a sweetheart and I think she will be a wonderful part of our family for many years. She had better be... I have spent about a thousand dollars getting set up for her... It was almost as fun as setting up a nursery when I was pregnant!
I will check these boards regularly for much-needed advice and the occasional dose of "thank goodness I'm not the only one going through this with my dog"... I can't believe how much I have learned in the short week since I found this site! You guys are GREAT!
There is so much love and wisdom on these boards. All I can say is THANK GOODNESS FOR THE INTERNET! I can't imagine learning all of this through trial and error. It's nice to read from others who have been there and done that.
