Funny things I have noticed.....

Boxer Buddy
Anyone else's boxers do the following:

Eat grass? (I know they all do, I just think its funny how Addy plays with it first)

Eat dirt?

Eat rocks off the back porch?

Lick sandals or shoes?

Lick feet?

They are funny little things aren't they?

Wow yes.

He not only eats grass, he tackles it first, rolls on it, and then eats it. Then 20 minutes later, I see it again partially digested.

All of the above apply to my baby - I usually see whatever it is that he has eaten again later - in not so pretty fashion!!!

Guinness stops to smell flowers... everywhere we walk. Any flower pot with colorful blooms... he stops and smells them, then moves on.
Also when we walk down our favorite east side street, he walks up and then down every set of steps in front of all the little boutiques and shops. Up two steps, glance through the door (while still moving), down two steps, then on to the next. It's almost like an OCD thing or something!

That's strange! Spud does both of those too! The flower-smelling thing can be a total nightmare if we walk by a florist's shop! :LOL: And he CANNOT resist steps...if they're there he has to walk up them!
He loves to "kill" and then eat grass too. :)

Napoleon does all those things too, except smell flowers, he had rather eat them. He stands over frogs (toads) and barks at the top of his lungs for several minutes slinging his head from one side to the other, before he puts his mouth on them. It is really funny. It is almost like he is telling it not to spray him or something.

How about sleeping sometimes on their backs, spread wide open with the front legs folded in the air "bunny rabbit" style? TOO funny. The first time my teenagers saw this all they choke out through their laughter was "yep, it's a boy..."

Molly loves to eat grass sometimes we think she is not a purebred boxer but a boxer/cow mix.
As for rocks.. LOVES THEM she doesn't eat them though she will toss them up in the air and pounce on them as though she is trying to take any life the rock had out of it and start the process all over again.
Molly has not touched any shoes and she doesn't seem to mind flowers but loves to try and catch bugs out of the air. It's funny at night when it is dark and she is out all we hear it the smack of her lips as a bug flies by her.
