Hey guys ,
Funny story from yesterday I wanted to share. I live in a smaller town in Alberta there is almost more Deer then there are people, and because the Deer are everywhere they have no fear of humans or animals its not uncommon to see 15-20 of them in your yard (and I'm not taking acreage i mean regular back yard) , crossing main street ,everywhere . Anyways yesterday i was out taking Buddy our 15 week old boxer out for a walk, then all of a sudden out from the bush come about 10-12 deer right on to the walking path. At first i was worried, I had no clue how Buddy would react or the Deer. I even called my wife to ask if she thought the Deer you like charge us or attack, she didn't think so... anyways here I was Buddy and about 10 Deer . I thought he would lunge at them, bark , freak out anything,
HE WAS AMAZED and almost like in Awe, he sat down and looked at them all, and not a nervous panicked look , as calm as can be they looked at him he looked at them , he would not move I tried walking away he would not move just wanted to look at them, eventually I had to pick him up and carry him away still while he stared ... even funnier now when I take him out he RUNS to the spot where we saw the Deer and get SO EXCITED like kidney beaning tail wagging...
Was the funniest thing , and like I said I have had 3 boxers before Buddy, like the rest of you know you can tell when your boxers are nervous, or scared or defending you this was not the case he really just seemed so interested
