About a month ago I noticed a small bump below Bella's skin. She has had these occasional bumps in the past and they have gone without treatment. This one though is more worrying. Its dark like a mole and I am sure its got slightly bigger as the fur is lifting more around it.

I know Boxers are prone to skin cancer, but Bella never goes out in the sun. We live in the UK so dont get that much anyway and when we do I keep her out of it.

I am going to take her to the vets on Monday if I can get an appointment for her, but I am naturally really worried its cancer. She is only two years old. Has anyone else experienced this? What does skin cancer look like??

We went to the vets yesterday and he basically doesnt know what it is. He said that it could be a melanoma, but the best thing to do it keep an eye on it to see whether it gets any bigger. He said if it was anything more serious then they could easily remove it as growths on the side are easier to remove than those on the feet or in the mouth.

Fingers crossed for my baby bell that it will go.

I found another small lump on Bella today. I am so upset. Its on her leg and looks like a skin-tag. When I touch it she doesnt like it. Also the other lump on her side is getting bigger. I dont want to loose my little girl, she's not even three years old yet.

We are taking her to the vets tonight, please prey for her.

I really wouldn't wait. just tell the vet you want them removed and biopsied, that's the only way you'll know for sure. Keep us posted

Avra had 3 moles when she was 2 years old,one month after her vaccines and also had other 3 moles when she was 3 years old....again one month after her vaccines!!!
The vet told me that these moles caused by a virus, but i have heard that these may be due to the vaccines, because the immune system goes down and allow the virus to attack the body.

I hope Bella is fine
Good luck

We went to the vets and she thought that the smaller one was a wart. Looking at it it does look much like a wart. With the other one she has told us she would rather wait until it was bigger so that they could either take a biopsy or remove it. She has told us to measure it, which we are doing.

Ill keep you posted.
